I'm Rebecca. My earliest memories include flowers. I was five years old, under the table with petals everywhere; roses, greenery, little bits and ends; while my mom worked in the flower shop alongside her mentor. I can still picture it all so vividly, even the fragrance of the roses.

I grew up surrounded by flowers, art and creativity. I watched my mom practice creativity in so many different ways, being a creative has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

Being creative has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My childhood memories look a little like cake moldings drying in the curio cabinet, clay figures and molds scattered across the tables, paintings in progress, watching my mom put together florals, and setting up booths for special occasions like Valentine’s Day. I’d like to think my love for flowers started somewhere in those moments.

I have been arranging flowers for a few years. In 2023 I found my space in the floral community through the Sacramento Floral Design Guild. They encouraged me to share my art and helped challenge me by encouraging me to enter design competitions.

In 2025, I took a chance and launched The Loveliest Blooms with the intention of pursuing my passion with heart, instinct and determination. I didn’t have everything figured out; I just knew I wanted to keep creating, keep learning and see where my love for flowers could take me. I wanted to build something that felt personal to me and give myself the freedom to design in a way that felt intentional, thoughtful and unique.
